Part IV: Your Career Plan

The career that interests me the most is Biomedical engineering. With being a biomedical engineer, I am able to
apply knowledge of engineering, mathematics, medicine, and biology to design and develop products. Items
like artificial organs and synthetic legs are made by biomedical engineers and are of great aid to the medical
field. To become a biomedical engineer, I will pursue the career path of science, technology, and mathematics,.
What I can do to prepare for this career path is to volunteer in my local hospital so I can evaluate if I truly like
the hospital setting. Also, I can take advanced classes relating to math and science like AP Biology and AP
Calculus.
Part V: Backup Plan

If my plan does not work out, I will either pursue to be a computer programmer or a biology teacher. Both my
parents are computer programmers and have great influence over me to do something related to computer
science, so this career choice is something I should definitely consider. In addition, being a teacher is very
rewarding and I like meeting new people, so being a teacher is something I will really like to do. I have greatly
considered being a teacher after I retire from my lifelong career, but that is just one of the many possible plans I
have for my future. Hopefully, with enough dedication and hard work, my dream plan will come to fruition and
will be a reality.
