    Passenger Cars & Light Duty Trucks


    • What is year/make/model of vehicle?
    • Manual or automatic transmission?
    • What is make/model of differentials? Do they require limited slip?
    • What product is currently being run in each compartment?

    On-Highway Heavy/Medium Duty Trucks


    • What is year/make/model of engine? What specification is required by manufacturer?
    • What is make/model of transmission?
    • What is make/model of axles and/or transfer case?
    • What product is currently being run in each compartment?

    Off-Road Construction/Agricultural Equipment


    • What is year/make/model of equipment?
    • What compartment is the oil going into?
    • What product is currently being run in the system?

    Portable or Stationary Compressors


    • What type of compressor? Rotary screw or reciprocating?
    • What is make/model of compressor? What is ambient temperature year-round?
    • What lubricant does manufacturer recommend?
    • What product is currently running in the system?

    Natural Gas Engines


    • What is make/model? Stationary or on-road?
    • What type of gas is being used? CNG, LNG, propane, biogas, or high H2S content?
    • What are current drain intervals?
    • What product is currently being run in the system?
    Gas Compressors
    • What is make/model? Rotary screw or reciprocating?
    • What type of gas is being compressed?
    • What is percentage of gas coming in contact with lubricant?
    • What is operating temperature & pressure in system?
    • What product is currently being run in the system?

    Hydraulic System
    • What product or specifications are recommended by manufacturer?
    • What is operating temperature of system? What are ambient temperatures?
    • Is a biodegradable product required?
    • What product is currently being run in the system?

    Turbines
    • Steam or Gas? What specification is recommended by the manufacturer?
    • Do the journal bearings have gear reducer unit?
    • What is the operating temperature?
    • Are they filtering the product? If so what micron & beta ratio is the filter?
    • Are they planning on top-off or complete change out?
    • What product is currently being run in the system?

    Gearboxes
    • What type of gear set? Planetary, worm, differential?
    • Does manufacturer provide recommended product or specifications?
    • Is gearbox heavily, moderately, or lightly loaded? Does it have a backstop?
    • What is ambient & operating temperature ranges?

    Metalworking
    • What is machining operation? Cutting, grinding, milling, tapping, etc.?
    • What type of metal is being machined? Stainless steel, copper, brass, aluminum?
    • What product is currently being run in the system? Soluble oil, semi-synthetic, synthetic, or petroleum
    based?
