Dear Parent/Carer,

Year 9 Parents’ Evening and KS4 Options Process

Year 9 Parents’ Evening – Thursday 1 February 2018

Year 9 Parents’ Evening is scheduled for Thursday 1 February 2018, between 4.30 and 7.00pm.
I hope that you are able to attend. You will have the opportunity to meet your child’s subject
teachers and discuss his progress in each area with them. The staff would also appreciate this
chance to meet and talk to you personally. Your son/ward is responsible for making his
appointments and recording them in their Student Planner. We ask that you complete the
Attendance Form to confirm whether you will or will not be able to attend the evening.

It is expected that your son/ward accompanies you to the appointments and that he is dressed in
full, correct school uniform. I will be asking some students to make appointments with me.
However, if you wish to discuss any issues with me, and I have not directly requested an
appointment, please ensure that your son/ward arranges one. I will also be available on the Key
Stage 4 Courses Evening (see below) if you have any questions.
