RESPONSE

SILENT PRAYER
The students and the teacher pray silently
for one minute.
WARMING UP
An informal talk with the students and the
teacher asks them to do the breathing exercise
for 10 counts.
Introduction
The teacher introduces the chapter ‘The
School for Sympathy’, is a story by Edward
Verrall Lucas. The story describes the theme
sharing and caring in our life. Today’s world
is filled with violence and not with any
kindness. In this story, we can see a new
school that is a space to teach the need for
sympathy

PRESENTATION
The teacher reads the first two
paragraphs of the story with proper stress and
pronunciation
TEACHING PORTION
The teacher teaches the portion very clearly
with audible voice
READING SECTION
The teacher asks the students to read the
two paragraph silently without making any
audible voice.
DICTATION
The teacher conducts a dictation for the
students from the first two paragraphs ,it
helps the students to byheart new words.
ACTIVITY TIME
The teacher gives time to fill the branches of
the tree in the kindness chart ‘The Kindness
Tree.

HOMEWORK
Write a short note on the importance of
sharing and caring in our life.
SUMMING UP
The teacher invites one student to present the
theme of the portion.
