Statistical Structural Analysis of a Model Circular Water Tank April 2016
Used reliability methods in form of differential equations to estimate failure probability.
Employed an FEA solver (here ANSYS Mechanical) along with MATLAB as a part of methodology.
Wrote a mathematical code to compute parameters subjected to various distributions and feed it to
ANSYS.
Calculated probabilities for varying sample sizes ranging from 10 to 100,000 in batch mode process.
Also, estimated responses using PYTHON 3.5 and computational differences were noted.
Design and Simulation of an All-terrain Vehicle (BAJA SAEINDIA 2013) April 2012 – May 2013
Adopted a bottom-up methodology for design assembly.
Implemented design and modeling methodologies keeping in mind cost, safety and dimension constraints.
Designed roll-cage, suspension double wishbones and coils using strength calculations.
Modelled the roll-cage on Pro-E Creo 1.0 and explicitly analyzed for stress on ANSYS for SAE1018 steel.
