“Here at Solihull Sixth Form college, modern teenagers spend
majority of their time on their mobile phones and even in their spare time off lessons, but what these teenagers do not know is that there are many effects to mobile addiction. Out of the world's estimated 7 billion people, almost 5 billion have access to mobile phones. 60% of college students worldwide consider themselves to have a mobile phone addiction without any hesitation and not being aware of how this could lead to developing depression, lack of social skills and sleep. Teenagers can neglect homework due to their mobiles which will be a huge impact on their education. To prove this, we will be asking students questions on mobile addiction and see who is addicted to their mobile phones.”
