Number and text formats
Code Description
Digit placeholder. Displays insignificant zeros if a
0 number has fewer digits than there are zeros in the
format.
Digit placeholder. Does not display extra zeros when the

Custom format with conditons

The conditions are enclosed in square brackets.
The custom formats to be applied for different conditions are separated by ;
Example:
[>5000] [Blue] #.##0,00;[<0] [Red] (#.##0,00);#.##0,00
Custom format in four sections code

A custom format can have up to 4 sections of code, separated by ;
These code sections define the format for positive numbers, negative number
positive;negative;zero;text
Example:
# ##0;[Red]-# ##0;"***";"error"
Custom formats examples

1. Apply a custom format for Distribution date to display it as in the example
2. Display the Quantity with thousands separator and "books" measurement
3. Apply the following custom format for Book Price column:
* for positive numbers: the currency symbol "RON" (Example: 4,50
* for negative numbers: "Error!" blue font
* for zero values: "-"
* for text - "?" with red font
