Harmony House takes care of women and children living in
nearby slums and provides them with wholesome food, education,
medication and hygiene awareness. The NGO currently operates two
shelters that jointly take care of 500 children across all age groups.
VCare has consistently supported them with monthly contributions.
They have also enrolled students in vocational courses including
beauty culture, yoga, stitching etc to empower them to get respectable
jobs later.

“Dear team VCare, we wanted to send a note of thanks and


acknowledge you for all the help and support you have given us over
the past 7 years. Because of your continued donations we have been
able to expand from providing education and nutrition to 12 children, Vocational courses held at Harmony House

5 NHAI plans to build the longest flyover on Dwarka E-way.


The flyover is part of an upgrade plan that NHAI is rolling out
across the entire 28 km span of the road. This elevated, 8 lane
corridor, will come up over the 6 lane main expressway and is
divided into 4 Phases. Phase 1 (6.5 km) from Shiv Murti to Bharthal
Chowk and Phase 2 (3.4 km) from Bharthal Chowk to the Delhi-
Haryana border are in Delhi. Phase 3 (10.2 km) from the Delhi-
Haryana border to Basai railway over bridge (ROB) and Phase 4 (7.9
km) from Basai ROB to Kherki Dhaula are in Gurgaon. Tenders for
Phase 2, 3 and 4 have already been given out

6 New Metro line will be developed connecting Huda City Centre


to Bawal, passing close to Vatika City 2 in Sector 89. The
project will be 100% funded by Japan and land for the said project is
already acquired

7 Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has proposed two routes


for metro line expansion to connect Old Gurgaon with other
parts of the city. The shorter route is 2 km from Huda City Centre to
Gurgaon Railway Station. The longer route of 27.5 km also starts
from HUDA City Centre to Dwarka Sector 21 metro station

8 NHAI has decided to build a trumpet junction between NH 8


and Dwarka Expressway. This junction will be integrated with a
cloverleaf coming up on the other side of NH 8, connecting it with ROB connecting Sovereign Park to Dwarka
Expressway is now operational

9 The 5.8 km long 2 lane road, between Hero Honda Chowk and

10 Second campus of All India Institute of Medical Sciences is
coming up at Badsa, Gurgaon (15 min from Vatika Express
City). Construction of AIIMS is going on at a fast pace and will be
operational in June 2018

11 46 acres has been allotted to IIT Delhi for their campus


near AIIMS. Another 45 acres is being allotted to them in
Manesar. Land along Dwarka Expressway has been allotted to a

8 Mobile Crèches have been set up for running the day care
program for children of workers at Vatika India Next, Gurgaon.
The crèche, apart from being a day care facility also provides basic

VCare has been associated with Family Vision Foundation


for the past 6 years now and has been continuously supporting their
annual carnival ‘Khushiyon ki Bahaar’. Family Vision Foundation
provides educational, emotional, material and community support to
the most vulnerable members of society – especially children. 

Every year in November, Family Vision Foundation organises


‘Khushiyon ki Bahaar’ - a mega Children’s Day Carnival for 1000
underprivileged kids from all over the National Capital Region. These
include street children, slum children, children from broken homes and
children of prison inmates. The kids enjoy a delicious lunch, dance, Children were happy to receive brand new school
bags sponsored by VCare
sing, make merry, watch entertainment programmes, play games and
win bags full of prizes - at absolutely no cost! Children look forward
to this event all year since this is the one day they can truly enjoy as
children without having to worry about anything else. 

Rohit Kumar of Family Vision Foundation says “VCare is true to their


name. They really do care! For the last 6 years they have supported
our initiatives for underprivileged children. For example, every year
they have sponsored major costs of our annual Children’s Day Carnival
‘Khushiyon ki Bahaar’ for 1000 underprivileged children. They have
sponsored thousands upon thousands of school bags, lunches,
hygiene kits and blankets. They have also supported our disaster relief
efforts and many others. It has been said that nothing the heart gives
away is ever lost – it is kept in the hearts of others forever. Your help
will live on forever in the lives of thousands of needy kids and people”.

Harmony House takes care of women and children living in
nearby slums and provides them with wholesome food, education,
medication and hygiene awareness. The NGO currently operates two
shelters that jointly take care of 500 children across all age groups.
VCare has consistently supported them with monthly contributions.
They have also enrolled students in vocational courses including
beauty culture, yoga, stitching etc to empower them to get respectable
jobs later.

“Dear team VCare, we wanted to send a note of thanks and


acknowledge you for all the help and support you have given us over
the past 7 years. Because of your continued donations we have been
able to expand from providing education and nutrition to 12 children, Vocational courses held at Harmony House
to over 500 children today. In 2013 with your dedication and support,
we opened our second centre. Our children have flourished and grown
into healthy, loved, intelligent and caring young adults because you
gave them the opportunity to have a better future”, said the Harmony
House team.

course found full-time employment at a salon, transitioning into a self-
sufficient, independent woman
