The primary scope of this lift plan is unloading and setting of pipes with dimensions (LxWxH) 2m x 1.5m
x 1m, with weight of 5,000.00kg (5.0mT).
Pipes which is encase in pallet will be first be off loaded from trailer coming from factory to truck crane
at site. The said pipes will then transported to the main laydown for storage in future use. During pipe
installation the truck crane will be used for loading and unloading of pipes to the work area. If site is not
ready to receive pipes, they will be offloaded and stored at an appropriate storage location with proper
protected and cover will be arranged.

The loads to be lifted are pipes inside pallets. (See Appendix-F Picture of the Pipes)
Rigging hardwares to be used are Chain sling, Webbing Slings and Bow Shackles.
(See attached Certifications – Appendix A.)
All lifting accessories are with valid Mill / Test Certificates
7. Crane Daily Checklist – Appendix B
The Crane Daily Checklist is to be accomplished daily by the operator and submit copy to Lifting
supervisor and Safety officer.

Lifting operations shall be supervised by a competent lifting supervisor who shall have relevant
experience in Lifting Operations. (see attached documents for lifting supervisor)
The primary means for communication for riggers and operators is the use of whistle supplied to them.
The lift shall be done in areas where eye to eye contact between rigger and operator is achievable.
Risk assessment is to be established and approved for repetitive lift, once approved the Risk
assessment shall be discussed by lifting Supervisor with all involved workers/ personnel. Records of
attendance shall be kept for reference.
