SGT GABRIEL, TJAY T.

Command Sergeant Major and Members of the Board. My name is SGT Gabriel
Tjay, I was born on February 26th 1990 in Tarlac city, Philippines and moved to Hawaii
on December 1999. I graduated from Moanalua High School. I joined the Army in
September 2011. I attended Basic Training in Fort Jackson, South Carolina on March
2012 and my Advanced Individual Training in Fort Sill, Oklahoma where I graduated and
earned the MOS as a 13B Cannon Crew Member.
My first assignment was the 3rd Battalion 7th Field Artillery Regiment Schofield
Barracks, Hawaii in September 2012. My duty position was Assistant Gunner and Ammo
Team Chief. While serving at Schofield Barracks I also attended Warriors
Leaders Course and Combat Life Savers Course. Upon completion of my tour in
Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, I was reassigned to 3rd Battalion 6th Field Artillery Regiment
Fort Drum, New York. On October 2015 to Februry 2017. While serving at Fort Drum I
attended Air Assualt School, Combat Life Savers Course, Environmental Protection
Course and Proveder Resiliency Training Course. Februry 2017 I reclass to 92F
Petroleum Supply Specialist and attended Advanced Individual Training at Fort Lee,
Virginia. Now I am curently serving at Fort Drum, New York. 2-15 Field Artillery Fire
Support Company, Distro Platton, 1st Section as a Squad Leader. I am happily married to
Kesha Marie and blessed with two daughters, Precious and Kathryn, and twin boys,
Preston and Bryson. My hobbies are fishing and playing basketball.My short term goals
is to become Staff Sergeant and attend Advance Leaders Course. My long term goals is
to get a masters degree in Business Management and retire in the Army as a Command
Sergeant Major.
