LENTE ADZU CHAPTER STRATEGIC MEETING FOR 2018

ELECTIONS:

1. Infographics as to the candidate’s platform

a. Beacon
b. Zamboanga Times

About: we will be publishing infographics as to the agendum of every running candidate. It

will include citations of their speeches, the gist of their platforms, a backgrounder for every
candidate and their current projects or past endeavors.

Goal: this is to help enlighten the voters as to the information about the candidates. Since
local elections do not have the grandiosity in promotion and advertisement as compared with
the national elections, voters are somehow blindsided as to the important details they need in
order to choose from the local candidates.

Timeline: 2 months before the local elections.

2. Seminar as to the right of suffrage (Primer)

a. Audience
i. Voters
ii. Including the candidates

About: This will be a symposium catering the dos and donts in an election. To enlighten
the audience as to the relevance of their votes, and the focal points of their right to
suffrage.

Timeline: One month before the elections.

3. Voter registration to be conducted in ADZU (Before election)

a. With COMELEC

About: The Adzu LENTE will be bringing the next voter’s registration and renewal of
Voter’s ID in the ADZU Campus. In order to cater to a greater number of registrants and
to urge the students to register as voters.

Timeline: Same time as the duration of voter’s registration by the COMELEC

4. Publish magazine
a. Write up re academic articles as to legal concepts (e.g. Chain of custody)
i. HEAD: Kuya Kelvin
ii. Work with BEACON
