  Check in procedure for new international students
104 學年度第 2 學期 (Spring 2016)

1. 宿舍寄放行李
Step1. Temporary Luggage storage at dormitory administration center
You may leave your personal luggage at the storage room provided by dorm
administration center. If you arrive in NTUST after office hours, please contact
the dorm administration center for temporary housing and prepare for registration
procedures next day.

※ Be sure to upload your health report to NTUST application system before


January 20, 2016. If students do not submit health certificate or pass heath
reviewed by NTUST, no campus dormitory will be arranged.

2. 教務處報到
Step 2. To Academic Affairs Office
Graduate students: to Section of Graduate Studies (2F, Administration Building)
Please check in according to the following date for each department

Students fail to check in on the above designated date will be rearranged a later
check in date. The office will be not open on Feb. 19, please do not check in on
that day.

3. 至國際事務處報到
Step 3. To Office of International Affairs (IB-402)
Pick up scholarship information kit.

4. 各系所報到
Step 4. To the office of the department you plan to study
Pick up academic regulation for registered department.

5. 保健中心報到
Step 5. To health clinic for verifying submission of health report and arrange
new student health examination

6. 學務處生輔組辦理宿舍登記
Step 6. To counseling Services Division for dorm room assignment and dorm fee
payment
※ New students should pay dorm fee upon dormitory arrangement. Please prepare
enough money for payment.

※ Campus dormitory is available for checking in after February 15, 2016

7. 出納組繳費
Step 7. Pay related fees at Section of Cashiers (3F, Administration Building)

8. 返回教務處領取在學證明

Step 9. Return to Academic Affairs Office


Graduate students: to Section of Graduate Studies (2F, Administration Building)
Hand in Payment receipt and “student check-in procedure form”, then collect
“Certificate of Study” for ARC application.

9. 宿舍入住
Step 10. To dorm administration center for moving into your dorm room (1F,
girl’s hostel)

10. 進行選課、簽證事宜
Step 11. Proceed to resident visa/ARC application and course enrollment
(1)Transfer to resident visa: to Bureau of Consular Affairs
(台北市濟南路一段 2-2 號 3~5F , 3~5 Fl., 2-2 Chi-Nan Rd., Sec. 1, Taipei)
(2)Apply to ARC: to National Immigration Agency
(台北市廣州街 15 號 NO.15,GUANGJHOU ST.,JHONGJHENG DISTRICT, TAIPEI
CITY 100-66, TAIWAN (R.O.C.)
(3)Course enrollment via student information system

11. 返回教務處繳交用印完成後之「外國學生報到單」並領取學生證

(1) After receiving ARC and completion of cell phone application, log in
to“student information system” and enter your personal information, then
print out “student registration form”.
(2) Submit one photocopy of ARC, student registration form and “New student
check-in procedures form” to Section of Graduate Studies for collection of
student I.D. card.
