REPORT ON THE EXECUTED PROJECT BY ENVIRONMENTAL CDS

GROUP 2015/2016 ELELE CANTONMENT IKWERRE LOCAL

GOVERNMENT AREA, RIVERS STATE.

On the 27th of October, 2016 the environmental CDS group at Elele

cantonment launched and commissioned her project at about 1pm with many

dignitaries present at the event. The 5 Battalion Commanding Officer, the Artillery

Commanding Officer, Principal of the schools and The Headmistress from the

primary section were all present at the event that took place.

The project that was carried out is provision of waste bin. 3 perforated waste

bins and 3 movable covered waste bins was shared to the primary school, the

secondary school and the Medical Reception Station (MRS) while 2 wheeled bins

was kept at the 5 Battalion and Artillery headquarters respectively. The project was

commissioned by the Battalion CO, Lt.Col. M.S. ADAMU and a word of advice

and motivation were delivered by him before the vote of thanks was given. The

event was marked by mixed feelings and a lot of merriment.
