    New Year Holiday Story in Surabaya

    Last school holidays, I spent time with my family on vacation to my siblings house in
    Surabaya, about 2 hours away by bus from my boarding house in Malang.

    On the way we see many beautiful scenery such as rice fields, mountains, etc. When we got home,
    we were welcomed by our parents, our brothers who had not seen us for a long time. The next day,
    we walked around the city surabaya until the sky began to darken. Finally we decided to go home at
    6 pm that day.

    The next day, I forgot that it was a new year. Tetiba one of my cousins came and invited to celebrate
    the eve of the new year. In the evening I went with him to downtown Surabaya which is very
    crowded because many people who also want to celebrate the new year with his family. As
    countdowns arrive, the darkened sky now becomes colorfully decorated by fireworks. We pray
    together while watching the fireworks that light up the night sky.

    Not feel any holiday passed quickly. The experience of the new year holiday in surabaya is really
    impressive to me.
