Tree. Behold, as the other Tree,
which is truly All Venerable, today is
coming. Therefore, run to it, and
with Joy, cry aloud with Faith, and
embracing It say: Thou, O All
Venerable Cross art Truly our Source
of Help! We have partaken of Thy
Fruit, and Incorruption instead of
Death have we thus acquired, and
with certainty, Eden once again and
Great Mercy.

and to the Holy Spirit

O Christ our God, Thou accepted Thy
voluntary Crucifixion for the General
Resurrection of the human race.
And, using the Cross as a pen, Thou
dipped Thy Fingers in the red Ink of
Thy Blood, and Signed our Imperial
Pardon, as our King, and thus
showed Great Mercy on mankind.
Do not forsake us, who once again,
are in danger of being estranged
from Thee. Thou alone art Long-
suffering. Therefore, have pity on
Thy people in dstress, and Rise up,
and fight those who battle against
us, for Thou art our Almighty Lord!
Now and ever, and to the Ages of
ages.

of explaining the Wonder of Thy
Childbirth! O Pure Maiden, Thy

the manner of Thy Child-bearing is
also Incomprehensible. For
whenever God so Wills, nature’s
order is over-ridden. Wherefore,
acknowledging Thee as the Mother
of God, to Thee we all intently pray:
