Legal latin terms:

1. Amicus curiae- someone who is not a party to a case and is not solicited by a party, but who
assists a court by offering information that bears on the case; Amici, plural form.
2. Movant- a person who applies to or petitions a court or judge for a ruling in his or her favor.
