Classroom Philosophies

Important practices to ensure a successful classroom in

which both teachers and students interact together using
materials from all developmental domains.

I convey classroom philosophies to families, students and,

teachers to foster collaboration and supportive
interactions in the classroom. I compiled important
philosophies based on reflections throughout my
teaching experiences.

 Maintain a safe, happy, and diverse learning

environment in which students with various
developmental abilities grow and learn through
exploration.
 Teachers facilitate students learning though
meaningful conversations and provide appropriate
materials to explore.
 Engaging peers promotes a community of learners
who gain knowledge from one another.
 Teachers work as a team to meet the individual
needs of all students.
 Teachers reflect on personal practice and students
abilities to make necessary alterations and prepare
for future beneficial learning experiences.
