Lesson Objectives

*Simulate a board of directors meeting.

*Invent a business using the traditional and online current trends visualizing the success in 2023
as leader in the market.
*Evaluate to what extend do the benefits of the implementation of technology in the business and
employment scenario outweigh the concerns.

Success criteria

1.- As a team Submit G-doc- to Google Classroom, entry: Show me the money!

2. Team presentation should offer a product or service taking into consideration the following criteria:
1.- Save time
2.- Increase productivity
3.- Increase profits

3.- Presentation Considerations:

1.- Number of employees - (and salaries, benefits)
2. Real Estate prices to establish the business or offices.
3.- Cost of technology (Devices, Software, Licenses, Internet)
4.- Cost to produce the product
5.- Cost of Distribution

4. Use a tie

5. Participation in advantages and disadvantages session.

6. Individual written evaluation of the benefits of the implementation of technology

Summary of Tasks/ Actions

1. Starter: Stand up and Stand out - Dr. G-3P-S is sad

Explain the Social and Ethical Concerns.

2. Each team should- propose a candidate as Vice-president, that candidate will conduct the meeting one
segment in the meeting. Create a new document and share it to your team.

3. Explain the task. The proposal that wins, gets their candidate elected.

5. Main task begins. While team 1 is presenting team 2 should make a list of the advantages and
disadvantages for the main stakeholders.

6. At the end of the Pitch team 2 will question them about the social and ethical concerns of their proposal,
and will ask for solutions. Vice-president (a) will conduct the meeting.

6. Team 2 pitch their business. Team 1 make a list of advantages and disadvantages for the main
stakeholders.

7. At the end of the Pitch team 1 will question them about the social and ethical concerns of their proposal,
and will ask for solutions. Vice-president (a) will conduct the meeting.

8. Finally, the board will vote for the best proposal

9. Plenary, Individually: In the same G-doc evaluate to what extend do the benefits of the implementation
of technology in the business and employment scenario outweigh the concerns.
