Game #1
Schmuck-offs are generally best played out in public and the
more public the better.
Friday and Saturday evenings are regarded as optimum
Schmuck-off occasions.
1. Choose a character using Select-a-Schmuck (page 2) or make
up your own
2. Each ‘Schmuck’ must stay in character all evening and win
points by accepting dares or forfeits
3. Points are awarded for various achievements e.g dressing up/
unique talents/ interacting with members of the public
4. Follow the ‘Dares’ (see page 4) for suggested challenges and
point scoring
5.Keep a tally of individual scores on the The Scorecard (see
page 4) and tot the points up at the end of an evening to see who
is the greatest Schmuck of all.
Game #2
1. Each person in a group writes the name of a famous Schmuck
onto a Post-It Note or cigarette paper and then sticks it to the
forehead of the person to their left.
Each player has no idea what is on their own forehead but can
see everyone else in the group.
2. The aim of the game is to guess what ‘Schmuck’ character
you have been given by asking the group a series of ‘yes/no’
questions.
3. Any affirmative answer allows you to ask another – if you get
a ‘no’ you forego any further questions for that turn and it passes
over to another member of the party.

Game #3
In the words of Keiran Vollard ‘Are you a penguin or a lion?’
Penguins are monogamous and mate for life. Lions however
will procreate with the fittest and strongest in their immediate
surroundings.
So are you a penguin or a lion?
1. On seeing an attractive person at a party or in a bar, the group
can challenge one of their fellow Schmucks with “Are you a
Penguin or a lion?”.
2. If the challenge is accepted conversation with that person must
be initiated around the sexual habits of big cats.
3. If the challenge is declined then that individual has to walk
and act in the manner of a penguin for the next 10 minutes.
Game #4
Similar to the popular game ‘Thumbmaster’.
1. One member of the group is appointed ‘Therman – The Mind
Control Expert’.
2. At their discretion he or she will touch each of their temples
with their respective middle and index fingers.
3. The rest of the group must immediately follow suit (and touch
their temples with their fingers).
4. The last person to do so will consequently be ‘under the
control’ of Therman for 1 minute exactly (during which time
Therman can ask them to do whatever he/ she wants them to do).
5. Once the minute is up, the loser then becomes the ‘new’
Therman and the game continues.

These challenges or ‘dares’ can be taken in turn or spun for using a dice.
Each ‘dare’ is worth an amount of points. These points will contribute to the grand total at the end of the night.
1. Dress 0-50 points 4. Negotiation 0-20 points (+5 points per success)
Points awarded for effort, creativity and compliments, or insults, from Points awarded for attempts to haggle with doormen, bar staff & taxi
members of the public drivers in character and bonuses for any savings made

2. Special talent 0-50 points (+5 points for demonstrations)
Points awarded for imagination, creativity and credibility
3. Catch-phrase 0-15 points (+5 points per repetition)
Points awarded for creativity, spontaneity and conversational
relevance
5. Schmu-zing 0-30 points (+10 points for style)
Points awarded for introducing yourself in character to total strangers
and maintaining conversation throughout as a Schmuck
6. Schmu-ve Moves 100 points
The ultimate prize, therefore awarded the most points. Managing to
‘pull’ in character secures 100 points instantly

Character : Barry - Taxidermist
Synopsis : Barry’s ‘Mouseterpieces’ recreate great
moments in history and art with dead mice. His
philosophy in life is inspired by the words of John
Lennon ‘You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not.’
Character : Keiran - Incendiary artist
Synopsis : Keiran Vollard has turned the art world
upside down in recent years. His work is dedicated to
the pursuit and celebration of sex as ultimate life force ,
self-expression and only reposte to the boring mundanity
of death.
Character : Therman - Mind Control Expert
Synopsis : Self-taught mind control master, Therman
claims to be able to manipulate an individual’s thoughts
& behaviours , much like a puppeteer can control a
puppet. He’s also very partial to a bit of pudding.
Character : Darla - Dedicated Dater
Synopsis : Dental assistant and aspiring hair model,
Darla is a passionate lover who doesn’t take no for an
answer.
Character : Lewis - Ventriloquist
Synopsis : Lewis and his flirtatious wife Diane are
inseparable, literally. Lewis is the first ever ventriloquist
to have married his dummy, a betrothal which is only
legally recognised in three of the fifty US states.
Character : Nora - Pet Psychic
Synopsis : Madame Nora provides a very unique
and sensitive service; reconnecting owners with their

Character : Marco - Blind fencer
Synopsis : While blindness may appear to be somewhat
of a limitation in the sport of sword fighting, Italian
fencer Marco believes it to be his competitive advantage.
In fact his other senses are so acute that he reckons
eyesight would be an unnecessary distraction.
Character : Vincenzo - Vulture Trainer
Synopsis : The vulture is the most misunderstood bird
of prey. Vincenzo has dedicated his life to educating the
public on this admittedly not beautiful nor easily trained
but certainly awesome raptor.
Character : Chuck - Beard Champion
Synopsis : There’s facial hair and there’s Chuck
Hofferstoven. His beard is renown from the Ganges
to the Australian Outback as one of the finest beards
currently of the face of the Earth, or any other face for
that matter.
About ‘Dinner For Schmucks’
Synopsis: Tim (Paul Rudd) is a rising executive who “succeeds” in finding
the perfect guest, IRS employee Barry (Steve Carell) for his boss’s monthly
event, a so-called “dinner for idiots” which offers certain advantages to the
exec who shows up with the biggest buffoon.
