Foreword
What does it take to make a memory?
Sometimes it takes:
Just one friend, one smile, a serious talk, or a happy
walk. Add Homecoming, ball games, Pep Club and band.
Memories are made of this--
Flavor it with banquets, PILLOW TALK, and FHA. Beat
in student teachers, stargazing, and FF A.
Memories are made of this.--
Season with typing, shorthand, and English IV. Beat with
class parties, hard work, volleyball, and track.
Pour in speech contest, teachers, and a few fights.
Sift with misunderstanding and kindness.
Memories are made of this--

Mr. Mallory Foresees Greater Efforts

Someone has said that the 66 years of this present century has brought
more knowledge, more progress, and advancement in all areas of human life,
than all recorded history prior to the year of 1900.
There are those who maintain that, from this date, the knowledge of all
phases of life will double at least every ten years.
Sobering, indeed, ·are these statements and for the serious mind tremen-
dous responsibility is evident. Great must be our efforts and our dedication
if we are to keep abreast and offer the contribution society has a right to ex-
pect of us.

Since rely,

Superintendent of Schools

Taking one last look at Buffalo High, a senior knows he will have many mem-
ories of his high school years--noisy fun, ringing class bells, friendly greetings,
and ''gab" sessions in the hall. As we leave the familiar faces and smiles, we real-
ize that a part of us will always remain here.
