Yes, it is Rob Hall! Pat was the first to email the answer and Polly
was the first to approach Rob in person to ask if it was his photo.
Rob was the person who suggested this additiion to the
newsletter. He also suggested that instead of emailing the
answer, that you approach the person directly – a great way to
get to know that person better. We did not have any photos for
this month, so please submit your photos for inclusion in future
issues. You can email it stjohn_episcopal@sbcglobal.net or bring
it to the church office in a sealed envelope. Your photo will be
scanned and returned.

ECW
The opening ECW event of the year will be a brunch on
Saturday, Sept. 18th @ 11 a.m. Annie will provide quiche
(and you know how well she cooks). Your president will
provide salads because it will be better for all if she doesn't
cook. A signup sheet in the parish hall will give us an idea of
how many to expect and what everyone might like to bring to
complete the menu.

On the agenda for that day is a suggested calendar of events

for the year. Some items to consider are a trip to the Co-
Cathedral in Houston and hand-working some ornaments for
the Christmas Tree.

All the ladies of the church are welcome. You're a member
