REVERSIBLE REACTIONS:

 Can take place in both directions, forward and backward.


 left to right -> forward reaction
 right to left-> backward reaction

Dynamic Equilibrium:

 If the reaction mixture is left in a sealed container after sometime it will be found that
concentration of all components will become constant , not because reaction has stopped but
because the rates of forward reaction has equaled the rate of backward reaction.

When a chemical reaction is at equilibrium, the concentration of reactant and products are constant.

Le Chateliers Principle:

If a chemical system at equilibrium experiences a change in temp, pressure or concentration then the
equilibrium position shifts in the direction which will oppose the change
