RE: “LINE CHECK”

On behalf of my Owners/Operators, Charteres, Bill of Lading holders, and P & I Club,

I hereby lodge protest, because you have denied carrying out a line check in order to verify the
condition of the shoreline at the outset of the discharge.

Due to the size of the shoreline, I consider it of utmost importance to establish beyond any doubt
whether same is full, partly empty or empty as its capacity has serious effect to the outturn quantity.

The small delays involved are for Terminal / Charterers account because the burden to prove the
condition of the shoreline is yours.

Under these circumstances, I reserve the right of the aforementioned parties to refer to this letter
whenever it is deemed necessary.
