Bhendi Bazaar is one of mumbai’s oldest areas and lies right in the heart of the old city. It
comprises of mainly mixed use tenanted chawls, many of which were constructed over 100
years ago. In addition to being home to many families Bhendi Bazaar continues to be one of
south mumbai’s busiest commercial belt.
Across the canvas of the vibrant but congested Bhendi Bazaar will come alive the grand
vision of Saifee Burhani Upliftment Project (SBUP). With the sole intention of creating a
milieu, the project will realize the dreams of its residents, both commercial & residential, to
live life to its fullest potential with better standard of living and holistic growth.
This ambitious redevelopment project comprising of 16.5 acres of landform has
approximately 250 existing buildings, 1250 shops and 3200 families. All of these will be
