    Maintenance of oil quality

    Solid, liquid or gaseous impurities bring down the dielectric strength of oil materially. The il

    should be purified to get rid of solid impurities, free and dissolved water particles and dissolved

    air by purifying .The following purifying methods can be used: Filtration and Treatment Under

    Vacuum, Centrifugal Method, Adsorption Columns and Electrostatic Filters.
