I’m Shouya and I’m with my deaf classmate Shouko.

Me and our other

classmates used to insult her everyday.

One day, we are in the playground while playing with others. After a while,

they go home. Me and Shouko were left in the playground. I thought to stab her

and I hit her at her arms. Then, she walks slowly towards me. I’m still sitting here

and waiting to what she will do next. Suddenly, she point herself and me, then

she closed her two fist like she’s holding something special to her. I can’t

understand what she want to say and I said “What? You’re such a freak!” while

I’m picking up some sands and throw those sands to her. She cry and run away

from me. When I’m on my bed, I’m still finding out for what she want to say to

me.

Many years has passed and I learned how sign language and I found out what

she want to say to me, and it is “Me and you…….Can we be friends?”
