“Let heaven rejoice”
GREETING…
Presider: In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
All: Amen
Presider: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy
Spirit be with you all.
Presider: As we prepare to celebrate the mystery of Christ’s love, let us acknowledge our failures
and ask the Lord for pardon and strength. (Moment of Silence)
People: I confess to almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned,
in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and in what I have failed to do.
(striking the breast…) through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous
fault;
(continue…) therefore I ask blessed Mary ever- virgin, all the angels and saints, and you,
my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord Our God.
(Or use 2nd form)
KYRIE(TO BE SUNG)
OPENING PRAYER
Presider: Let us pray.
Lord, fill our hearts with your love, and as you revealed to us by an angel the coming of your Son
as man, so lead us through his suffering and death to the glory of his resurrection, who lives and reigns
with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
People: Amen.
Fear not, my people! Remember, Israel, You were sold to the nations not for your destruction; It
was because you angered God that you were handed over to your foes. For you provoked your Maker
with sacrifices to demons, to no-gods; You forsook the Eternal God who nourished you, and you grieved
Jerusalem who fostered you. She indeed saw coming upon you the anger of God; and she said: “Hear
you neighbors of Zion! God has brought great mourning upon me, For I have seen the captivity that the
Eternal Ga\od has brought upon my sons and daughters. With joy I fostered them; but with mourning
and lament I let them go. Let no one gloat over me, a widow, bereft of many: For the sins of my children
I am left desolate, because they turned from the law of God. Fear not, my children; call out to God! He
who brought this upon you will remember you. As your hearts have been disposed to stray from God,
turn now ten times the more to seek him; For he who has brought disaster upon you will, in saving you,
bring you back enduring joy.”
Responsorial Psalm
Psalm 23 (to be sung)
Refrain:
The Lord listens to the poor.
GOSPEL READING:
At that moment Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said: “I offer you grateful praise, O Father,
Lord of heaven and earth, because what you have hidden from the learned and the clever you have
revealed to the merest children.
“Yes, Father, you have graciously willed it so. Everything has been given over to me by my
Father. No one knows the Son except the Father and no one knows the Father except the Son-and
anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal him.”
Turning to his disciples he said to them privately: “Blest are the eyes that see what you see. I tell
you, many prophets and kings wished to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear
but did not hear it.”
HOMILY
Celebrant: God truly good, look with love on your children gathered here. Hear the prayers
we make to you, and help us to live the mysteries we celebrate. We make our prayer through
Christ, our Lord. R. Amen.

Almighty Father.

our good and the good of all his holy church.
Presider: Lord, may these gifts we offer in sacrifice transform our lives. By celebrating the

EUCHARISTIC PRAYER
Presider:
Father, all powerful and ever living God, we do well always and everywhere to give you thanks through
Jesus Christ our Lord.
Lifted high on the cross, Christ gave his life for us, so much did he love us. From his wounded side flowed
blood and water, the fountain of sacramental life in the Church. To his open heart the Savior invites all
men, to draw water in joy from the springs of salvation.
Now, with all the saints and angels, we praise you forever:
Holy TO BE SUNG
PRESIDER
Father, you are holy indeed, and all creation rightly gives you praise.
All life, all holiness comes from you through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord by the working of the Holy
Spirit. From age to age you gather your people to yourself, so that from east to west a perfect offering
may be made to the glory of your name.
And so Father, we bring you these gifts, We ask you to make them holy by the power of your Spirit, that
they become the (+) Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, at whose command we celebrate this
Eucharist.
On the night he was betrayed, he took bread and gave you thanks and praise.
He broke the bread, gave it to his disciples and said:
“Take this all of you and eat it: this is my body which will be given up for you.”
Eucharistic Prayer II
In memory of his death and resurrection, we offer you, Father, this life-giving bread, this saving cup. We
thank you for counting us worthy to stand in your presence and serve you. May all of us who share in
the body and blood of Christ be brought together in unity by the Holy Spirit.
Celebrant or one celebrant
Lord, remember your Church throughout the world; make us grow in love, together with Francis our
Pope, Reynaldo our Bishop and all the clergy.
Celebrant or one celebrant
Remember our brothers and sisters who have gone to their rest in the hope of rising again; bring them
and all the departed into the light of your presence. Have mercy on us all; make us worthy to share
eternal life with Mary, the Virgin Mother of God, with the Apostles, and with all the saints who have
done your will throughout the ages. May we praise you in union with them, and give you glory through
your Son, Jesus Christ.
Presider: Through him, and with him, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours,
almighty Father forever and ever.
Presider: Let us pray with confidence to the Father in the words our Savior gave us.
Presider: Deliver us Lord from every evil and grant us peace in our day. In your

joyful hope for the coming of Savior, Jesus Christ.
