Dear Parents/Guardians,

The University of San Carlos is one of the top universities outside Manila and
its Department of Accountancy takes pride in being one of the top performing
schools for its accountancy program. Its students are well-rounded individuals who
are able to adapt to this rapidly changing world.

An educational tour will be organized for the 3 rd year accountancy students

in Cebu from March 2-3, 2018. This tour will allow the students to validate theories
and observe actual operations of leading manufacturing concerns in the country;
observe practices, operations, and seek interaction with the national government
agencies and financial institutions, and converse with top auditing firms.

In line with this, I would like to invite your son/daughter to participate in this
fun-filled learning experience. The attendance for the educational tour is a
requirement for the accounting subjects: AC515 (Managerial Accounting) and
AC516 (Auditing Theory).

Regarding the airfare ticket, the whole fare must be fully paid and it is non-
refundable. With regard to the tour expenses, cancellation within 30 days or less
before the scheduled tour, 50% of the total expenses will be collected.

The package summary, parent’s consent, and waiver form are duly attached.
