Action research project consent form

Title of project: Highlighting Nouns Using Line Drawing Technique to Help Year 3 Pupils
Use Verb in Simple Present Tense Correctly

The aim of my research is to investigate the effectiveness of line drawing technique in

helping year 3 pupils to apply subject verb agreement rules in simple present tense
correctly.

If you agree to participate in this study, you will be asked to complete a pre-test and
post-test. You will also be interviewed and the interview will be audio-recorded. The
marks of the pre-test and post-test as well as the interview recording will be used as
data for my research.

When I report on my research, I will ensure that you are not identified. No reference to
personal names will be used. I am the only person who will have access to the data
collected for the project. Your participation in this research is voluntary and you can
withdraw at any time. You do not have to give a reason for withdrawing from the
research and there will be no negative consequences if you decide to withdraw.
