LIQUID DISHWASHING SOAP

Formulation
 Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate (500 grams)
 Chlorinated Water (5 liters)
 Sodium Chloride (250 grams)
 Coconut Diethanol Amide (50 ml)
 Linear Alkaline Benzene Sulfonic Acid (25 ml)
 NP-10 or Tergitol (5ml)
 Moisturizer (10 ml)
 Scent (10 ml)

Procedures
1) Measure all ingredients properly.
2) Mix Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate in water gradually until it dissolves. (Must be added gradually and
stirred in one direction to avoid suds.)
3) When the Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate has been dissolved, add the coloring.
4) When totally mixed, add the Coconut Diethanol Amide.
5) Then add the Linear Alkaline Benzene Sulfonic Acid.
6) Add the moisturizer. (optional)
7) Add scent.
8) Mix thoroughly and make sure that everything has been dissolved.
9) Lastly, add the salt and continue mixing until the solution thickens.
10) Let stand for about 24 hours to make the small bubbles in the solution disappear, cover with a
porous material.
11) Pack.

Keynotes
 Once the solution become watery, it will not thicken anymore.
 Avoid using hot water.
 Use chlorinated water. Mineral water is not recommended because it still has solid portions.
 Proportions must be exact to avoid resulting in water-like finished products.
