IN CASE YOU ARE NOT FAMILAR WITH RURITANS: Ruritan is a civic service organization with the purpose of
creating a better understanding between people and, through volunteer community service, make America’s
communities a better place to live and work. The slogan of Ruritan is Fellowship, Goodwill and Community Service.
Each Ruritan Club surveys the needs of its community, and then works to meet those needs. Money made at the
festival stays in the Knotts Island community. Last year the Knotts Island Ruritan Club gave back to the Knotts Island
Community +$25,000

RULES
KNOTTS ISLAND RURITAN CLUB 27th ANNUAL PEACH FESTIVAL
June 23 and 24, 2018
SAT. 10AM TO 6PM SUN. 10AM TO 4PM
20x20 CRAFT BOOTH before June 1,2018 $75.00 after June 1,2018 $90.00
12x12 CRAFT BOOTH before MAY 1,2018 $60.00 not available after MAY 1,2018
FOOD BOOTH Before June1,2018 150.00 after June 1,2018 $200.00 YOU ARE REQUIRED TO REMOVE ALL OILS
AND GREASE FROM YOUR SPACE AT THE END OF FESTIVAL.
REGULATIONS, PLEASE READ:
1. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SET-UP AND CLEAN UP OF YOUR ASSIGNED AREA. CHECK IN TIME ON
FRIDAY IS BETWEEN 12PM AND 7PM; ON SATURDAY BETWEEN 6AM AND 9AM. IF A DIFFERENT WEEKDAY IS
NEEDED LET US KNOW.
2. THE AREA YOU ARE ASSIGNED IS WHERE YOU WILL BE. THERE WILL BE NO CHANGING OF LOCATION.
3. ALL BOOTHS ARE SUBJECT TO COMMITTEE APPROVAL.
4. NON REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT OF 1⁄2 THE RENTAL FEE IS REQUIRED NO LATER THAN MAY
1,2018. THE BALANCE IS DUE JUNE 1, 2018. PAYMENT IS TO BE MADE BY CASH, CHECK OR MONEY ORDER
PAYABLE TO KNOTTS ISLAND RURITANS. MAIL TO : 101 SEA BREEZE S. KNOTTS ISLAND,NC 27950 c/o Anita
Waterfield.
5. THIS IS AN OUTDOOR AREA SO BE PREPARED FOR THIS TYPE OF ENVIRONMENT. THIS IS A RAIN OR
SHINE EVENT. We do not do any refunds for weather related conditions or cancellations of the event.
6. YOU ARE ALLOWED TO PULL UP TO YOUR BOOTH AND UNLOAD ; VEHICLES MUST BE IN THE DESIGNATED
PARKING AREAS BY 9:30AM PRIOR TO FESTIVAL STARTING. WE WILL NO ALLOW ANYONE TO DRIVE THRU
THE FESTIVAL FROM Saturday 9:31am-6:01pm and Sunday 9:45am-4:01pm
7. STANDARD SPACES WILL BE 20’ X 20’, SMALL SPACE IS 12x12 PLEASE NOTE EVERYTHING IS REQUIRED TO
FIT INSIDE YOUR SPACE AT ALL TIMES. WE WILL BE INSPECTING EVERYONES SPACES. 12x12 SPACES WILL
BE LIMITED AND ONLY AVAILABLE IN CERTAIN AREAS OF THE FESTIVAL.
8. NO DOGS, NO BIKES, NO PLASTIC SQUIRT MATERIAL.
9. ANY COMPANY OR VENDOR THAT HAS ANY RULES ON OTHERS SELLING THE SAME PRODUCT WILL NOT
RECEIVE A REFUND PLEASE CALL BEFORE SENDING APPLICATION IN. WE WILL HOLD YOUR SPACE FOR
7days TO RECEIVE YOUR APPLICATION.
10. NO FRESH WHOLE PEACHES WILL BE SOLD BY ANYONE OTHER THEN THE RURITAN CLUB. FOOD
VENDORS CANNOT SELL BARBECUE SANDWICH ( pulled pork) SCOOPED PEACH OR VANILLA ICE CREAM AND
PEACH PIE . FOOD VENDORS WILL BE REQUIRED TO POST PRICES OF FOOD AND DRINKS WHERE THEY ARE
VISIBLE TO THE PUBLIC AND CAN NOT BE SOLD AT A LOWER PRICE THAN THE RURITAN BOOTH. FOOD
