1. Lesotho- Lesotho is a relatively small country. It has a population of 2.2 million.The area

of Lesotho is 11,720 square miles. It’s fairly populated (Not too many, not too little) but

it is still very poor. Not having many densely populated areas makes it hard to have an

effective economy. Lesotho is a small, round shaped country so there’s no real climate

variation among the region, so basically, if there was a drought, the whole country’s

crops would die. Lesotho is an enclave & is surrounded by South Africa. Since Lesotho is

much weaker than South Africa, their very livelihood depends on their relations with

South Africa.

2. Turkey- Partly in Europe & Asia, has acted as a barrier/bridge between the two

continents, situated at the crossroads of the Balkans, Caucasus, Middle East, and eastern

Mediterranean, land area is greater than that of any European state

3. Canada- Canada has its perks of having good neighbors & the size of the country also

helps big time for its security. Canada has natural & man-made waterways & these

waterways are important to Canada’s economy. The Great Lakes in the St. Lawrence

seaway passage for ships traveling from Lake Superior to the Atlantic Ocean. Only 8% of

Canada’s land area is good for farming.

4. South Africa- South Africa is located in the southern part of the continent of Africa. The

Atlantic Ocean in the southwest & the Indian Ocean on the southeast. Africa which could

lead to an increase of tourists to South Africa and the creation of new business

opportunities. African carriers could face direct and aggressive competition from other

countries.
5. Russia- The population of Russia is 144.3 million as of 2016. 850,000 of them are

soldiers. The average Russian makes around 422272.50 Pounds (around 7,500 USD)a

year.

6. Chile- Chile is a slender country, therefore it has a long shoreline. Because of that, the

country has access to the sea & its resources, which is good for trade. Many of its rivers

flow into the Pacific Ocean, which is also good for trade. Chile is the 35th largest export

economy.

7. Indonesia- Indonesia is Southeast Asia´s largest economy. In recent years, the central

government has shifted emphasis from commodities to a more

industrialized/manufacturing centered economy. Indonesia is made up of 17,508 islands.

Its placed between the Indian & Pacific Oceans. The Indonesian proximity to multiple

oceans makes it very ideal for cargo shipping. The country also has many large airports

for importing and exporting goods in and out of the country. Itś populated with 262.7

million people. Indonesia has the most Muslims in the world. This country is located to

many high-production Asian countries such as China and Vietnam. Indonesia is not the

worldś friendliest country for business. A major obstacle of doing business in Indonesia

is getting the necessary permits & licenses for business. Indonesia is the highest

producing southeast Asian automotive producer.
