POTTERY ART

In the present day I will talk abaut the art of ceramics. First I will explained how
it´s started in the history. In prehistory and for a long time and space. Often, the
prehistoric cultures have as denominaton a certain type of ceramics rustic, as
for example in our country the ceramics of the culture “las vegas”.

The pottery is made of a raw material known as “clay” and was made with a
utilitarian purpose: the pottery serves as a container for storing liquids or solids,
for cooking, for eating and drinking. This is also a cultural characteristic of
sedentary and agricultural societies.

Despite its eminently utilitarian nature, from the first moment, ceramics have
been the object of decoration and for many cultural groups, and for a long time,
the only means of artistic expression that has reached the present.

Now I will be to explain the process for make objects of ceramic.

 First imagine the purpose, size, shape and color of the container that will
be made.
 Second you must choose the clay once the clay type has been selected
 You will have to shape your container and will be to using your hands.
 After you should let dry the container and you can will be painted
 Finally, you must ckean the inside of the container and you will be able to
use the object

Fimally pottery is related with the history of the human being, and reflect in it the
creativity custons, ideas and in addition to it´s evolution in time.
