KEY PROJECTS
1. Medybiz Omnibus panel methodology: RELIANCE - MEDYBIZ PRIVATE LIMITED, DAKC, Koparkhairne
 Preparing a business plan for Medybiz omnibus Panel Methodology and preparing an Omnibus panel for 20 cities
across the country. This included preparing financials and conducting a pilot survey to prepare a report to find out
the market share of various healthcare players in the market.
2. Equity research on FMCG SECTOR, SIMSR :-
 The project was aimed at analyzing the performance of FMCG Sector in the last four years and the fundamental and
technical analysis of Five companies i.e. HUL, ITC, MARICO, COLGATE-PALMOLIVE & DABUR.
 The report also analyzed the impact of budget 2010 on FMCG sector
3. Research paper to study whether the inclusion of commodity in commodity market helps in better price
discovery, SIMSR :-
 Drawing a correlation between spot and future prices of the commodities (Jeera, Turmeric, Soyabean, Chana,
Pepper, Soyaoil ) by analyzing the data of the past 6 years.
 Analyzing the effects of ban on commodity by comparing pre and post ban prices of the commodity
 Studying the correlation between Indian commodity markets and International commodity markets.
4. Analysis of two leading companies in aluminium industry, SIMSR :-
 A thorough analysis of the balance sheets of the two leading aluminium companies of India (Hindalco & Nalco). The
analysis included Industry, sector performance, fundamental ratios of both the companies.
5. Comparative analysis of financial statements of banks, SIMSR :-
 Financial ratio analysis of balance sheets of Kotak Mahindra bank and HDFC Bank was carried out for important
banking ratios like liquidity ratios, profitability ratios, efficiency, income and expenditure ratios.
