At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
1. Identify the various benefits of using Word Processing Software.
2. Be able to create a simple document and manipulate its appearance and text.

short, we use Microsoft Word for word processing
and document creation. It also has various
editing tools that will help us polish our
documents.

C. ACTIVITY
Divide class into 2 groups. Ask students to
write any shortcut keys / tricks that they
remember related to Microsoft Word. (2
minutes)

1 representative will write answers on the


board. Point will be provided to the group
who doesn’t have the same answer.

They say that when you are already familiar with


a certain topic, we tend to stick on what we
already know and we don’t find ways to learn
something “new” about it.

Today, we won’t go back to the basics but let me


teach you a few tricks that may be useful to your
studies or future career.
