Research Design

Method – we are using both primary and secondary data for data collection. Primary source
of data collection will be mainly through personal interview, FGDs. Secondary data collection
will be from company websites and government data. We are taking a sample of 20 people.
We will also be doing an exploratory research for finding information need of each research
objective. We will be doing two focused group discussion and 2 personal in depth interviews.
Interviews will be unstructured and direct. Medium used will be personal

Sample – we will be using a sample of 20 people. Six will be college going college

Applicability - We have chosen the above given sample for the research. We have tried to as
unbiased as we can in the way we have chosen the respondents. We have tried to cover the
entire demography. we will try to cover the entire age group of millennials from 22 to 35,
with different level of educational qualification and disposable income.

Plan of Action
First of all, we will gather information needs from various online tech discussion platforms,
social media, tech expos. We will divide ourselves into two panels of three individuals and will
conduct the FGD of two groups, each group having mixture of various economic, education
backgrounds and age groups. We will record the full session of FGD and latter we will analyse
it.
After conducting two FGDs, we will also conduct two in depth interviews. We will randomly
select the candidates. We will conduct one interview for value for money segment and one
interview for premium segment. The duration of each interview will be about half an hour.
The sequence of questions asked will be unstructured. We will ask one or two introductory
questions to start the interview, and depending upon their response, we will structure further
questions.
