Biology Minor
Biology Minor
The requirements include any of the necessary prerequisites for the required courses. A grade of C- or
better is required in all biology courses taken for the minor, and a D (not a D-) is required for all non-
biology courses for the minor.
Minor Requirements:
BISC 207 - Introductory Biology I (4cr.)
or
BISC 205 - Biology for Health Sciences (4cr.)
BISC 208 - Introductory Biology II (4cr.)
Additional BISC courses:
BISC 100, BISC 207 (or BISC 205) and BISC 208 may count towards the required 19 credits.
Otherwise the remaining credits must be courses with numbers higher than BISC 208, subject to
restrictions below.
Restrictions:
1. Either BISC 276 or BISC 306 may be applied to the minor, not both.
2. Either BISC 302 or BISC 321 may be applied to the minor, not both.
3. Special problems (such as BISC 466), Research (such as BISC 468), and Undergraduate Teaching
(BISC 422) cannot be applied to the minor.
4. No courses from other departments may be applied to the minor.
