Project Definition
The project is defined as the planning and execution of a trip to two famous places in Rajasthan, India
i.e. Jaipur and Jaisalmere. This trip includes four people. It has the goals of 1) a cost no greater than
Rs. 8000($ 119) per head, 2) a start to finish time no greater than 5 days, and 3) must cover all the
planned places. Cost will be the trade-off of the project.
Organization
Project Manager and Tour Manager
Responsible for the overall planning, organization, management, and tracking of the project.
Approves all changes to scope, schedule, or budget
All different cross functional manager i.e. transport manager, finance manger and driver will
report to and be subject to the direction of the PM
The PM will maintain the master schedule and will be responsible for keeping it up to date with
completed work and changes
The PM will be responsible for signing all close out and completion documentation and no
contractor may demobilize from the site prior to receiving completion notice.
Responsible for managing all the planned activity of the tour
Finance Manager
Responsible for assisting the PM in development of the project plan and set up
Responsible for the money flow
Assist PM in maintaining and achieving cost targets
Participate in the post mortem analysis at project completion

In order to analyze the risks associated with the uncertainty of estimated durations in trip plan, we
used a Risk Register. The analysis is based on my best knowledge of the minimum/maximum days
each of the tasks will need.
