We have a total of 50 respondents from various faculty in UiTM Shah Alam. 28% of the
respondents is a Mechanical Engineering. 24% of our respondent is from other faculty and
18% is a respondent from Applied Science faculty. After that 8% is an Electrical Engineering
and 6% from Law Faculty. Beside that 6% of respondents from Architecture, Planning And
Surveying faculty and from Sport Science and Recreation is 4%. 2% represents respondents
from Computer and Mathematical, Chemical Engineering and Civil Engineering faculty.

56% of respondents sleep at 5-6 hours while 24% of respondents sleep at 7-8 hours. After
that 12% of respondents sleep 3-4 hours and 6% of respondent sleep 11 or more hours. Only
2% of respondent sleep 9-10 hours.

90% of respondents sleep at night and 34% of respondents sleep at afternoon. Meanwhile
24% of respondents sleep at morning and 18% of respondents sleep at evening.

skip any meals while only 10% of respondents skip dinner.

For price, 24% of the respondents rank first, 30% rank second, 12% rank third, and lastly 24%
for rank fourth. For nutritional criteria, 20% rank first, 36 rank second, 26% rank third, and
8% rank fourth. For taste criteria, 14% of respondents rank first, 10% rank second, 40% rank
third, and 22% rank fourth. For quantity criteria, 28% of respondents rank first, 14% rank
second, 16% rank third, and 32% rank fourth.

38% of respondents not exercise in week and 32% of respondents exercise 3-4 hours per
week. Beside that 10% of respondents exercise 1-2 hours and 7-8 hours per week. After that
only 6% of respondents exercise 11 or more hours per week and 4% exercise 5-6 hours per
week.

75% of respondents not have enough sleep because of study and assignment. After that 18%
of respondents playing video games cause them not have enough sleep. 6% of respondent
not have enough sleep because have part time work and club or co-curricular activity. Then
only 2% of respondents not have enough sleep because playing sport.

48% of respondents skipped a meal because they have study and assignment. After that 22%
of respondents playing video games cause them for skipped a meals while 20% of
respondents skipped meals because the food location so far. Beside that only 2% of
respondent skipped meals because they are working part time and none of respondents
skipped meal because of sports activity.

respondents not enough exercise because they are working part time. After that 12% of
respondents play video games cause them not enough sleep. Only 6% of respondents have
co-curriculum activity make them not enough sleep.

4.0 CONCLUSION

The following are the conclusions of this study:

1. Students do not have enough good sleep at night.


2. Most students skip at least a meal a day.
3. Students mostly not able to do enough exercise weekly.
4. Study and assignments preventing students to employ healthy lifestyle.
5. Students already knew the unhealthy habits and aware of its effects.

5.0 RECOMMENDATIONS

For students to improve their unhealthy lifestyle, our recommendation are as follows;

1. Students should have better time management in order to have quality sleep at right time.
2. Students must have sufficient numbers of meal a day so that they can have sufficient food
intake and balanced diet in order to keep the body in pink of health.
3. Students must work hard and smart to complete the assignment on time.
4. Students should be more discipline of practicing healthy lifestyle as most of them already aware
of it.
