Students in a math class will celebrate Valentine's Day by exchanging fraction valentines with their classmates. They will sort, graph, and perform fraction operations with the candies received, as Valentine's Day is not an official school holiday but a chance for students to still show love and learn fractions. The class has 29 students plus the teacher.

As you may be aware, Valentine’s Day is not one of the
two official party holidays allotted by Fulton County Schools. However, students still love to participate in showing love to their fellow classmates on this day. Since we are studying fraction operations, on Valentine’s Day, students are encouraged to bring cards/treats for their classmates. We will conduct sorting, graphing, and operation activities with the candies, as fractional amounts. There are 29 students in the class & Ms. Gigger. 😉
