and the bottom text reading with the red background “ Semen Gresik KokohTakTertandingi”.
While a seemingly simple advertisement, the combination of text and picture reveals insight
into the values of the targeted consumer. The marketers behind this advertisement attempt
to redefine the strenght of the cement by showing the city building that sustained by the
cement. The eagle is represented the strenght and the eagle fyling high means the the

The verbal sign written above means to persuade people to take care of the world and make

color of the phrases which colored as white as the oxygen can be describe. The non-verbal
sign found in the advertisement above such as an unused bottle and it represented that no
matter how long it lie in the ground, it cannot be unravel or merge with the ground itself. So,
the advertisement attempting to persuade people to take care of the world by recycling the
plastic, revitalizing and replenishing to make this world a better place to live. The other non-
verbal sign of the advertisement below are the grasses which also as the background of the
ads. It actually related to the unused bottle on the advertisement, because the grasses are
the opposite of it which cannot be assimilated with the plastic. The other meaning of the
background sign above also means to keep the greenery of the world and to make it as
dominant despite the inorganic stuffs.
