He didn't know it at the time, but Simon Penner was going to become a criminal.

Life was a series of basic movements for Simon. His day to day life never changed; his

routine was, he believed, set in stone. There wasn't a time in his life that he could remember that

was ever different than it was now. Sure, he probably had a childhood where he was carefree and

happy, but the monotony of his everyday existence had dulled or blanked out any memory he
