Objectives
The students will be able to:
compare eating habits around the world
use the verbs, adverbs and vocabulary (healthy, unhealthy habits, food, meals
etc…) related to food
use verb imperative

Activities  Identify students’ knowledge about Brazilian and different eating habits
around the world
 Watch a video from youtube.com about 50 breakfast around the world
 Group project and presentation
 Writing activity
 Speaking activity

Procedure
First – warm up activity with the vocabulary content.
Second – watch a video about breakfast around the world
Third – group discussion about what they have observed in the video, then each
group will tell what they’ve observed concerning the types of food and eating
habits
Fourth – individually, the students will write a paragraph describing their daily
eating habits using frequency adverbs and the vocabulary learned
Fifth – pair work: talking about abilities concerning cooking
Sixth – prepare in groups for the assessment activity
Assessment
Students, in groups of four, must record the preparation of an international dish,
describing what they are doing while preparing the recipe. They should talk a bit
about the eating habits of the country, where the dish is from, making sure
everyone participates and use the imperative form of the verbs and vocabulary on
food we have talked in class.

Homework After discussing the video about the breakfast around the world they will have to
choose the top 10 breakfast on their opinion and describe its components, write it
down and bring to class
