Objectives Students will be able to:
 Practice vocabulary about places in the city;
 Identify places in their own city;
 Create their own city plan.

Materials  Computer lab (computer with internet access);

 Flashcards;
 Projector.
 Handout (city template – final assessment).

Activities In the classroom:

 Vocabulary flashcards.
In the computer lab:
 Video activity;
 Blog entry;
 Games.

Procedure First – using vocabulary flashcards, introduce the new words;

Second – Go to the computer lab and open the Weebly page;
Third – show the video to the whole group using the projector and conduct a choir
repetition;
Fourth – individually and using earphones, the students watch the video and
practice the new words;
Fifth – direct students to the blog page and explain the task;
Sixth – the students who finish posting on the blog can choose an online game to
play (under the label “Videos and Games”).

Assessment Blog post – students write names of places near where they live,
as specified on my Weebly page.
