E-mailing an MTR for Retention

When you receive an MTR (Material Test Report; Material Test Certificate; Mill Test Report) with a
product, you must scan and e-mail the MTR to MTR.Scans@huskyenergy.com so it can be stored in
HDMS for future reference.

1. Start by locating the heat number on the MTR. Circle or visibly highlight the number (please only
use a highlighter if you have access to a colour scanner.)

2. Write the PO that the material was received on and the PO line item number for the specific
material clearly on the top of the MTR sheet.

3. Scan the MTR to a PDF format and select "Send file as e-mail attachment."
4. Enter "MTR.Scans@huskyenergy.com" in the "To..." address bar.

5. Use the "Heat Number" as your title for the "Subject:" bar.

6. Send the e-mail.
