“ART EXPLOSION”

Point View Shot

The robot’s gripper moves slowly towards a little bump on


the ground, underneath the car. The robot stops and touches
the sack which carries a bomb. [Close up] The robot’s
wheels get stuck in the sand, therefore making it
impossible to grab the bomb.

Camera Pans to the left 180

Chris, [Main Character] wearing a bomb disposal suit,


walks towards the bomb slowly. He removes the obstacles
blocking the robot. Close up is being used to show his
concentration and deep breaths.

Low Angle Shot

Chris gives an ‘okay’ signal, a smile, as we see other bomb


disposal experts celebrating in the background. Close up is
being used to express Chris’s facial expression as being
shocked as he finds the bomber.

Hand Held Camera


Over the Shoulder Shot

Chris runs Towards the bomber and captures him. [Medium


Shot] The bomber is seen whispering into Chris’s ears about
the second bomb that has been placed inside the hotel they
were standing next to.

Low Angle Shot

He looks at the tall building.

Cross-cut

He looks at his ring.

Fade Out Shot
Int.

Alice looks at her ring and [close up] carries her art
briefcase into a room already filled with her art pieces.
[Medium Shot] She happily presents her work to a Judge who
does not find any interest in her work and carries on
walking, with an expressionless face, towards her other art
pieces.

Close up

Alice becomes hopeless, carries her briefcase and [Over the


Shoulder Shot] walks out of the exhibition room towards a
desk which she leans on.

Chris opens the door with haste and looks around.

Close up

Alice looks at the clock on the wall with anger and tells
Chris to be “quiet!” She closes her eyes and opens her
mouth to sigh as her husband quickly disappears again.
Chris had come home late again and Alice was getting quite
frustrated.

Medium Shot
Fade Shot

Chris starts looking for the bomb. Different quick shots
are used to show Chris looking for the bomb; behind the
desk, inside the exhibition room and the shelves which are
positioned close to the stairs.

Camera Pans 80 degrees (right)


Tilts 60 Degrees (upwards)

Chris looks up at the stairs.

Close up

The Judge places her finger in front of her mouth and


tells him “shhh!”

Long Shot
POV Shot

Chris creeps up the stairs and [medium shot] starts opening


books. He hears a child laugh and uses the corner of his
eyes to trace where the laugh came from [Panning Shot].
Close up is used to show Chris’s surprised face.

Over the Shoulder Shot

Chris looks behind the child and sees a timed-ticking bomb


placed inside the book.

(Camera zooms in,


Non- diegetic sound;
a ticking clock,
timer is set for 15 second)

Medium Shot

Chris creeps behind the child and grabs the book off him.
The child stares at him and starts bursting out in tears.
This frightens Chris and makes him walk backwards and trip
over some toy cars.

Following Shot

He holds the rails of the upper floor in fear and


mistakenly drops the book below and watches it fall down
the winding staircases. We follow the book as it falls into
Alice’s art briefcase.

The time which is 8-4 seconds)

Chris slides down the stair rail and takes his wife’s
briefcase in haste as he runs into her exhibition room and
pulls her out.

Slow Motion and Following Shot

He throws the briefcase, we follow the briefcase in midair


as it explodes.

(2-1 seconds)

Hand held Camera


Crash Zoom in

Chris dramatically falls on the floor as Alice reaches her


hands to the camera in despair.

(Red lighting)

Medium shot

The judge starts clapping (lighting back to normal: yellow)


and starts praising Alice’s artwork as the splattered paint
(created by an explosion) covered the room in colours and
suddenly improves her work. She hugs her husband in huge
excitement – he is still unconscious.
