1. In case of the STAAD analysis and design model, horizontal deflection of the member
is observed as 144.893 mm. However, the same is observed as 0.08 mm as per the
corresponding Microsoft (MS) Excel design spreadsheet. Please clarify. Refer the
Following snapshots for better clarity.
Answer: Horizontal deflection which is observed as 144.893 mm is resultant deflection
of whole structure while calculation submitted is for individual member of structure
(i.e. 0.08 mm).Revised STAAD model with reduced horizontal deflection of whole
structure is submitted to you in trailing mail.

2. The submitted Microsoft (MS) Excel design spreadsheet for foundation Design, base
plate design etc. are currently protected to check the calculations. Please provide
unprotected MS Excel design spreadsheets for further review process.
Answer: Noted, Design excel sheets in unprotected format all mailed to you in previous
mail.
