Dear Speaker Ryan, Leader McConnell, Leader Schumer, and Leader Pelosi:

The Coalition for the American Dream, an organization of business leaders representing
every major sector of the US economy, endorses the Rounds-King amendment (SA
#1958) in the Senate immigration debate, and applauds its sponsors for developing a
commonsense, bipartisan proposal to provide a permanent legislative solution for
Dreamers while instituting responsible border security enhancements.

The amendment provides legal certainty for Dreamers and businesses, avoiding a loss
of valuable talent and significant disruptions in the American workforce, and would
ensure that these deserving young people can continue contributing to their
communities and our economy.

As Congress considers various immigration proposals, the Coalition urges members to

support the Rounds-King amendment as a responsible, bipartisan path forward.
