General Information
Description
The course enables the students to have a better understanding of translating from Farsi to English – mostly
in political context – through a comparative approach, and later try for themselves to translate from Farsi to
English.

Expectations and Goals

At the end of the semester, the students are expected to be able to comprehend the nature of translating
from Farsi to English, distinguish the differences between the two languages, and translate from Farsi to
English.
