avoid wastage of water and make a very careful use as well as conserve the water. This attitude can p
be of a great help in water supply.
Rivers, Springs, Lakes, Dams etc. are many sources of water but the main source of supply of water
these sources is the "Rain Water". Our country mostly depends on the Rain fall during the South
monsoon and the annual average rainfall varies from place to place ranging from 200 to 8000 mm. But
then few rivers like Ganga, Yamuna, Brahmaputra, Tapti, Narmada, Godavari, Krishna, Kaveri etc.
